JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Title:                     CUSTODIAN                                                                                                             

 

Reports to:           Building and Grounds/Maintenance Supervisor and Head Custodian

 

Job Objective:     Performs custodial duties to protect and preserve buildings, grounds, equipment, and furnishings.  Keeps the building and grounds/maintenance supervisor and/or head custodian informed about emerging issues.

 

Minimum         ·   High school diploma or GED.  Post-secondary training in a trade is desirable.

Qualifications: ·   Meets all mandated health requirements (e.g., a negative tuberculosis test, etc.).
